Welcome to the Shields Houses!

Higgins Lake is the sixth most beautiful lake in the world. This spring-fed lake, with its sandy shores and lake bottom, boasts pristine clear waters, and crystal green depths. Our dock extends 80 feet from the shore. The water is knee deep for 300 feet, then gradually drops off to deeper water. We have 200 feet of beach front.

The Shields property consists of three houses which can be reserved individually or together. Each house is self sufficient, with its own kitchen, living and bathing areas and with unequaled views of the lake and glorious sunrises and sunsets.

Combined, the Shields houses can sleep as many as twenty-seven people, making it an ideal location for family reunions, weddings, and other large or small gatherings. The Shields property is available for week long periods throughout the year. Winter stays are available at reduced rates for a minimum of two nights, a great idea for winter sports enthusiasts.
